Muharram holiday ?

 Muharram is the first month of the Islamic lunar calendar and is considered one of the sacred months in Islam. The holiday of Muharram holds particular significance for Muslims, as it marks the beginning of the Islamic New Year. Additionally, it is a time of reflection and commemoration for the martyrdom of Imam Hussain, the grandson of Prophet Muhammad, who was killed in the Battle of Karbala in 680 AD.

During the first ten days of Muharram, many Muslims observe fasting, engage in prayers, and reflect on the lessons of sacrifice, bravery, and standing up for justice that Imam Hussain's martyrdom teaches. The climax of the mourning process usually takes place on the 10th day, known as Ashura, which is a significant day of remembrance and reverence for Muslims worldwide.
